Indrajit Suryawanshi has 14 years of experience in the hotel industry with international gastronomy and hotel management expertise . Inder began his career as the Chef de Partie at JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role he developed and refined his culinary skills and was awarded first place at the National Association of Catering Executives Awards. After spending 5 years with JW Marriott Desert Ridge, Chef Suryawanshi transferred to the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai as the Chef de Cuisine. In 2013 he departed from the hotel to compete in the Burjuman Young Chef competition's live cooking category receiving a Bronze medal. Since then, Chef Suryawanshi has worked across world-class hotels including the JW Marriott in Marco Island, Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Fort Washington, Maryland, Marriott Marquis in Washington D.C, and MGM National Harbor: Hotel & Casino in Ox Hill, Maryland. As he joins JW Marriott Clearwater Resort & Spa he will continue to innovate and elevate his culinary and leadership techniques to grow his team while creating exceptional quality dishes, that elevate the guest experience.
